My stay at Commodore Hotel Busan was quite a mix. The hotel features a charming traditional style that's visually appealing, but some areas felt a bit worn. While the check-in process was smooth and efficient, I did encounter a few issues, especially with room cleanliness. Overall, considering the beautiful views and the extensive breakfast buffet, it was a decent experience for the price.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms had an old-fashioned charm, but there was visible wear and tear. I did notice cleanliness issues, especially in the bathrooms, which was disappointing.
Service
5.0
The staff was friendly and eager to help, but communication in English was a bit of a struggle. It made some simple requests like room changes and troubleshooting air conditioning more challenging.
Location
7.0
Perched on a hill, the hotel provided stunning views of Busan port. However, getting there on foot was a bit daunting with steep sidewalks and stairs, so taxi or bus is advisable.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of dishes, which I really enjoyed. However, dining options outside of breakfast were limited, with no included meals at the hotel.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had essential services like room service and housekeeping, but I felt the maintenance could be improved. The air conditioning was tricky, but staff provided fans as a workaround.

My stay at Commodore Hotel Busan was a mixed bag. I appreciated the hotel's traditional style and excellent breakfast options, but some aspects, like room cleanliness, left much to be desired. The location was quite convenient, making it easy to explore the area, but I did face a few comfort issues during my time there.

Rooms

The room had a lovely traditional style, though it showed signs of age with some wear and tear. The pillows weren't the most comfortable for me, but it offered a great view of the port.

The staff were quite friendly and always ready to assist, which made my stay more pleasant, especially when they helped us find a vegetarian restaurant nearby.
Location

Located on a hill, the hotel is close to Busan Station and a short walk to major transport links, though it requires some uphill walking when not using taxis.
Dining

The breakfast buffet was impressive with a great range of options. Unfortunately, there were limited vegetarian choices on the menu.
Facilities

Basic facilities were available, including room service and housekeeping. However, I had issues with the air conditioning that didn't cool properly.

6.8/10

I recently stayed at the Commodore Hotel Busan, and while aspects of its past glory remain, the hotel shows noticeable signs of age. The check-in and check-out processes were efficient, and my room was well-maintained, albeit with some wear and tear. The breakfast buffet offered a decent range of dishes, although I found it a bit disappointing at times. Overall, considering the price, I would say it's a good option for both business and pleasure. 🌟

The room had a comfortable atmosphere, although it felt quite dated. Some fixtures, especially in the bathroom, showed wear and tear, but everything worked as it should.

The staff was polite and helpful. I was particularly grateful for their assistance in retrieving my phone left in a taxi, which they handled efficiently.
Location

The hotel is situated on a steep hill, making it a bit challenging to walk to nearby subway stations. However, it's conveniently located close to a bus stop, which made it easier for my trips around the city.
Dining

I was initially drawn to the hotel’s dining options, but after being shown a limited menu with mainly cheeseburgers at the bar/restaurant, I was disappointed and chose to eat outside instead.

The hotel provides services like room service and housekeeping, which were satisfactory during my stay.

My stay at the Commodore Hotel Busan was quite enjoyable, with a unique aesthetic and a solid breakfast buffet. The rooms, while spacious and comfortable, showed some signs of age. The location was convenient for exploring Busan, but the hill might pose a challenge with luggage. Overall, it was a good experience, especially for the price.

The Deluxe Double Room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with nice views, though it had an old-style decor that showed some wear and tear. The carpets could've been cleaner, but everything worked fine.
Service

Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming, making check-in easy and efficient. However, the bar staff didn’t quite match the rest of the team's friendliness, which was disappointing.
Location

The hotel is located on a hill, which offers great views and is close to two subway stations. It’s easy to access the bustling downtown area and nearby restaurants, but definitely take a taxi if you have heavy luggage.

I appreciated the on-site gym and sauna, even though I didn’t get the chance to use them during my stay. Room service and laundry options were also quite convenient.

I had a pretty good stay at the Commodore Hotel Busan, with friendly staff and a solid breakfast buffet that had a lot of options. However, I did notice the rooms were showing their age, especially the bathrooms, which felt a bit worn down. On the upside, the hotel's location made it easy for me to explore the area, being close to both subway stations and a shopping center.

Rooms

The Standard Twin Room was spacious enough, but honestly, it was a bit old-fashioned. The bathroom had some wear and tear, although everything worked fine.
Service

The staff really stood out for me; they were super friendly and helpful, especially when I had a little hiccup with my phone—a real lifesaver!
Location

The place is right in the center of Busan, which made getting around a breeze. It's located between two subway stations and not far from shopping areas.
Dining

The breakfast buffet was a highlight for sure, but I was a bit let down that some of the dishes were a bit cold and there wasn’t too much variety for the price.
Facilities

While I didn’t get to use the pool as it was closed during my stay, I appreciated the room service and housekeeping options available.
